High Quality Early Education through Nevada Ready! State Pre-K

United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS) partners with private early learning centers to provide free Pre-K to eligible families whose children are at least 3-years-old or 4-years-old by August 1, 2024. Through our partnership with the Nevada Department of Education and United Way of Southern Nevada, UWNNS is able to provide high-quality early education to over 216 children who otherwise would not have access. UWNNS is focused on partnering with private early learning centers in our rural communities throughout northern Nevada.

UWNNS is currently enrolling for the 2024-2025 academic year to participate in the Nevada Ready! State Pre-K program. 

This form is for families currently living in the following counties: Lyon, Douglas, Elko, Humboldt,or Washoe.

Nevada Ready! State Pre-K Eligibility

For the 2024-2025 school year, families must meet 2 eligibility requirements:

1. Children must be at 3 years of age or 4 years of age on or before August 1, 2024.

2. The family's annual household income must be 200% FPL and below OR up to 250% FPL and below.

The family's annual household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL)
